What am I thinking?!? I am watching Animal Planet right now. They are showing a program titled "The Big Squeeze". I do not like dangerous snakes. This show is recounting people's run-ins with Reticulated Pythons, Boas, and the like. This one guy, a zoo keeper, was killed by a 22 footer. With him dead on the floor, it proceeded to attack the other zoo keeper who was trying to rescue him. He kept hacking deep gashes into the snake with a knife. It didn't stop the snake from attacking. Somehow, the second guy managed to get away from the snake, and give CPR and revive the first victim. It's the formerly "dead" guy that tells his story on the show. Amazing! Some of the other stories on the show are of pet owners who were attacked by their giant snakes. One guy, owner of a 21 foot constrictor, had to call the cops to rescue him. They shot the snake, of course, and the owner maintains he "loved that snake". Another lady in Malaysia was attacked in the outhouse. The snake let her go because he couldn't drag her down the "potty hole". They said he wanted to eat her in the safety of a dark place. Lucky for her, she was large enough she wouldn't fit through the hole! I am so glad B went to sleep early tonight so I could watch the nightmarish show by myself. I don't need her having nightmares too.
Oh, boy. Now I'm watching crocodiles court and mate with each other. This should be interesting. "It takes quite a bit of passionate wrestling to get it right", says the narrator of the show.

Good Grief! What happened to the cute little monkeys I saw on there the last time I tuned in. We don't have tv, as you know, but the kids like to turn on animal planet if we are ever in a hotel on vacation or something. I definitely couldn't handle THAT show!
